Job Overview:

Pay Range: $54.70hr - $59.70hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Several years of hands-on translation project management experience, with demonstrated ownership of projects from request through final delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Independent problem-solving skills, curiosity, and sound judgment.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to craft clear instructions for vendors and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with translation management systems, translation memory, localization QA, and common localization file formats and workflows.
  • Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day project management — e.g., developing and validating instructions, supporting QA/QC checks, and streamlining repetitive work.
  • Comfort operating in an evolving environment where processes aren’t always fully defined.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and accountable working style.

Responsibilities:

  • Own translation projects end-to-end — from intake through delivery — including project setup, vendor coordination, scheduling, query management, tracking, and final delivery.
  • Review incoming requests and project instructions for completeness, flagging questions, dependencies, or risks before work begins.
  • Develop clear, thorough project instructions and ensure vendors understand requirements.
  • Proactively monitor projects, follow up on outstanding items, and keep stakeholders informed of status and potential risks.
  • Perform delivery checks to confirm expected files and key requirements are met before delivering to requesters.
  • Investigate and resolve project and workflow issues independently where possible, escalating appropriately when needed.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project information across project management and translation systems.
  • Identify and support opportunities to improve or automate workflows, including using AI and other tools to boost quality, consistency, and efficiency.
  • Partner closely with the Translation Program Manager on escalations, vendor performance, quality issues, and broader program needs.
