About REHAU

REHAU is a global leader in polymer-based solutions, delivering innovation and quality across the construction, automotive, and industrial sectors. With a focus on sustainability, reliability, and performance, REHAU develops products that make homes, buildings, and infrastructure more efficient and durable.

We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to grow our presence in the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding Ontario market.

Position Summary

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for promoting and selling REHAU’s full catalog of mechanical and plumbing products—including plumbing, residential fire protection, radiant heating, snow/ice melt, pre-insulated piping, and geoexchange systems.

The BDM plays a key role in expanding market share, building strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through direct sales, distributor partnerships, and specifications with engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow sales in the assigned territory (Greater Toronto Area and Ontario region).
  • Promote REHAU’s complete range of products to engineers, contractors, distributors, and manufacturers’ representatives.
  • Research and assess market potential; develop and execute territory sales plans.
  • Identify and pursue commercial and residential project opportunities to generate new business.
  • Build, manage, and maintain strong customer and partner relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Conduct presentations, lunch-and-learns, and product training sessions for industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales Management, Marketing, and Technical Services—to support customer needs and regional goals.
  • Track opportunities, projects, and customer interactions in Salesforce.com.
  • Achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability targets established by the Sales Incentive Plan.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; relevant trade or technical experience may be considered.
  • Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience within the plumbing, hydronics, or construction industry.
  • Demonstrated success in opening new accounts and developing long-term client relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to travel up to 50–60% within the region.

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary ($80,000–$100,000CAD) plus performance-based incentive plan.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, life insurance, RRSP matching, and more).
  • Paid vacation and company holidays.
  • Opportunities for professional growth in a global organization.
  • Inclusive, collaborative culture that values innovation and employee well-being.

Accessibility & Equal Opportunity

REHAU is committed to creating an inclusive, barrier-free recruitment and selection process in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
Accommodations are available upon request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruitment process.

REHAU is an equal opportunity employer. We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
