Job description

Quanex is looking for a Part Time Data Entry Clerk to join our team located in Trumann, Arkansas.

We are seeking a skilled data entry clerk to ensure proper execution of data and other office task daily.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Receive and direct incoming phone calls and mail to the proper person. Greet visitors or others having business transactions with the company and maintain the reception area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Scan postproduction POP packages to imaging system daily.
  • Track lead time request turnaround times and record on lead time request spreadsheet.
  • Maintain the Ladder Up kanban system and follow up daily. Review Ladder Up orders larger than twenty units with Scheduler and/or Buyer/Planner.
  • Note appropriate information, including general ledger account number and cost center information, on conversion cost and occupancy invoices. Match packing slips to invoices as appropriate. Forward invoice to supervisor for review of content and approval.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail.
  • Add a new Voice of the Customer (VOC) folder for each pop. Maintain and update the VOC picture issues log.
  • Highly driven, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with others, both within & outside the organization.
  • Ability to handle a very heavy, varied phone and e-mail load over the course of a day.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned or warranted by circumstances.

Your Credentials:

1-2 years of experience in data entry, clerical or related duties in a manufacturing or similar industry.
Proficiency in MS Office Products preferred.
Experience with phone systems preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The hourly wage for this position is: $17.00 per hour.
