As a Senior UX Designer at Businessolver, you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, engaging, and efficient user experiences across our suite of products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our digital solutions not only meet user needs but also drive business outcomes. This role requires expertise in designing for web and mobile applications, proficiency in conversational design, and a strong ability to make design decisions driven by data. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned designer who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating innovative user experiences.
Essential Function
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, and cross-functional teams to iterate on designs and integrate feedback throughout the development cycle.
  • Design Execution: Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions for both web and mobile platforms.
  • User-Centered Design: Lead the end-to-end design process from ideation to implementation, ensuring that solutions are both user-friendly and aligned with business goals.
  • Design Systems: Contribute to and maintain a consistent design system that reflects Businessolver's brand standards and enhances the overall user experience.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. Develop personas, user journeys, and scenarios to inform design decisions.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to drive design choices, validate concepts, and iterate on solutions.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture within the team.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, preferably in enterprise software or digital products, with demonstrable experience designing for both web and mobile applications.
  • Experience working in agile or iterative development environments, with a keen understanding of how design integrates with the development lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Familiarity with user research tools and methodologies.
  • Experience in conversational design, including designing for chatbots and voice-based interactions, is highly desirable.

Data-Driven Approach:
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to design decisions.

Portfolio:
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in user-centered design, problem-solving skills, and ability to create engaging digital experiences across web, mobile, and conversational platforms.
  • Communication:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present and justify design decisions.

The pay range for this position is 95K to 120K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).
This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
