Job description

For more than three decades, Aeris has been a trusted cellular IoT leader enabling the biggest IoT programs and opportunities across Automotive, Utilities and Energy, Fleet Management and Logistics, Medical Devices, and Manufacturing. Our IoT technology expertise serves a global ecosystem of 7,000 enterprise customers and 30 mobile network operator partners, and 90 million IoT devices across the world. Aeris powers today's connected smart world with innovative technologies and borderless connectivity that simplify management, enhance security, optimize performance, and drive growth.
Aeris is looking for a senior technology leader who will drive our front-end user experiences in the age of GenAI. This is a unique role that covers all product areas including IoT Accelerator, IoT Watchtower, and Automotive Connected Vehicle Cloud. This VP role requires exceptional technical strength and a proven ability to innovate, shaping intelligent, user-centric experiences and embedding AI-driven insights to deliver impactful, differentiated solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in enterprise User Experience, Front-end technologies, Data visualization, GenAI, IoT, and technology innovation, with a proven record of leading complex SaaS initiatives and transforming market needs into successful, forward-thinking, and actionable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy
  • Define and evolve product vision across IoT Accelerator, Watchtower, and Mobility Suite.
  • Identify paths to embed AI/GenAI-driven capabilities, including anomaly detection, RAG-powered insights, and smart automation in connectivity & security flows.
UX Leadership
  • Architect and iterate UX for high-complexity SaaS interfaces-device/UI dashboards, analytics portals, and policy controls.
  • Champion a single pane of glass design, ensuring clarity across connectivity, eSIM, billing, and security modules.
GenAI Integration
  • Evaluate and embed AI/ML/GenAI solutions to enrich platform functions: cost optimization, threat insights, predictive alerts.
  • Innovate with use cases such as intent-based device policies, network anomaly detection, and automated workflows.
Cross-functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with engineering (cloud, security, APIs), data science, operations, design, and GTM teams.
  • Drive agile roadmap delivery, from prototypes through to global deployment across 30+ MNOs.
  • Lead front-end quality strategy, ensuring scalable automated testing (unit, integration, E2E) and GenAI-driven test automation across Aeris platforms.
  • Embed QA into CI/CD workflows and uphold accessibility and performance standards.
Market & User Insight
  • Research and prioritize use cases in verticals (fleet, energy, healthcare).
  • Engage with customers, partners (MNOs, OEMs), and internal stakeholders for empathy-driven feature definition.
Performance & Analytics
  • Define UX and product KPIs: adoption, task success rate, support load, and monetization through AI tools.
  • A/B test messaging, AI tips, and alerts; refine GenAI features for maximum ROI.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 15+ years in Product/Technical leadership (SaaS, enterprise B2B).
  • Deep experience with UX frameworks designing for complex enterprise SaaS products (including prototyping, user research).
  • Proven success operationalizing GenAI/ML capabilities/frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face) into live products-preferably in cybersecurity, analytics, or communications.
  • Cloud-native SaaS architecture (APIs, microservices, device management, security)
  • Analytics and data visualization (real-time insights, anomaly detection)
  • SAFe or similar scaled Agile frameworks, DevOps, and cross-functional technical leadership
  • Strong collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams; adept at translating user needs into product features.
  • Excellent communicator-executive-level storytelling, product pitches, and UX rationale.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Prior leadership in IoT SaaS, telecom, cloud, or security domains.
  • Understanding of cellular IoT, connectivity management, eSIM, device security, and API-based ecosystems (including protocols and standards e.g., MQTT, eSIM, secure onboarding)
  • Familiarity with AI ethics, zero-trust security, and relevant compliance. Aeris is an equal opportunity employer.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, national origin, marital status, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected status.
