Job description

JOB SUMMARY

The Talent Acquisition Intern will work directly with the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to support recruiting operations and strategic talent acquisition initiatives. This position will collaborate with multiple departments to assist with recruiting events, applicant tracking system (ATS) administration, candidate sourcing, and process improvement efforts that enhance the overall recruitment experience.

The TA Intern will gain hands-on experience in three key areas: recruiting event coordination, AI-powered recruiting, and ATS administration. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape how the TA team incorporates emerging AI technologies into its recruiting processes while developing practical recruiting and TA operations experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform outreach to schools and educational institutions to establish and maintain relationships that support recruiting events, career fairs, and talent pipeline initiatives
  • Support recruiting event planning and coordination, including researching events, registering for career fairs, coordinating logistics, and organizing recruiting materials for shipment to event locations
  • Represent Elite Dental Partners at recruiting events, career fairs, conferences, and campus outreach activities as needed to promote employment opportunities and build relationships with prospective candidates and educational partners
  • Maintain inventory and organization of recruiting materials to ensure the TA team is prepared for recruiting events and outreach activities
  • Utilize AI-powered tools (Metaview, Expa, Copilot, or similar platforms) to source candidates, identify qualified talent, generate recruiting content, and streamline TA workflows
  • Partner with the TA team to identify opportunities for AI-driven process improvements and assist with implementing new recruiting strategies and best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments to support recruiting initiatives
  • Assist with ATS administration, including opening job requisitions, updating job postings, and ensuring positions are accurately distributed to external job boards
  • Monitor external job boards to verify job postings are active and accurate, and troubleshoot posting issues as needed
  • Maintain recruiting documentation, templates, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other TA resources
  • Support TA projects, reporting, and administrative initiatives as assigned by

OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stay informed on recruiting best practices, AI advancements, and emerging technologies that support TA
  • Assist with special recruiting initiatives, hiring campaigns, and continuous improvement projects
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and cross-functional projects to gain exposure to TA operations and contribute to team success

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently working toward completion) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Prior internship or administrative experience preferred but not required.
  • Interest in pursuing a career in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
  • The role requires the ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to attend schools, conferences, meetings, training sessions, and other business related events..
