As HPG continues to expand programs, partnerships, and sponsored initiatives, a strategic and mission-aligned talent acquisition function is essential to attracting and retaining a diverse and capable workforce.

Position Summary

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for executing and strengthening HPG's recruitment and workforce sourcing infrastructure in alignment with the strategic workforce vision established by the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

This role serves as the primary owner of recruitment workflows, talent pipeline coordination, hiring partnership support, and employer branding initiatives, ensuring that recruitment practices are equitable, structured, and scalable across staff, interns, fellows, and long-term volunteers.

The Director of Talent Acquisition is both operational and relationship-focused, translating workforce planning priorities into effective recruitment execution while partnering closely with hiring managers and HR functional leads.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition Execution & Pipeline Management

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment coordination across workforce segments
  • Develop and maintain mission-aligned talent pipelines
  • Support hiring managers in defining role expectations and recruitment timelines
  • Coordinate structured interview and selection processes
  • Maintain candidate tracking documentation and recruitment activity records

Recruitment Strategy Implementation

  • Support the execution of employer branding initiatives
  • Implement inclusive recruitment outreach strategies
  • Build partnerships with educational institutions, community groups, and professional networks
  • Promote equitable and transparent hiring practices

Candidate Experience & Stakeholder Support

  • Ensure timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment stages
  • Facilitate onboarding transition coordination with HR Operations
  • Support workforce planning discussions with program leaders

Qualifications
