RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for answering phone calls and scheduling all physician and provider appointments accurately and efficiently
  • Responsible for a friendly greeting and beginning the registration process
  • Responsible for routing calls to the appropriate person when necessary
  • Obtain and enter current demographic and insurance information accurately and update as necessary
  • Responsible for rescheduling appointments when a physician schedule changes as well as maintaining efficient and accurate provider schedules
  • Communication with interpreter services and accompany appointments
  • Manage schedules to adjust when necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year customer service or reception experience
  • Valid Driver's License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a medical office environment
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records systems
