Job description

We are looking for a part-time MRI Patient Services Receptionist to join our team!
Since 1980 Barrington Orthopedic Specialists' specialty-trained experts have remained the premier orthopedic providers of the northwest Chicago suburbs, providing compassionate, individualized care for patients' bone, joint and injuries and conditions. Barrington Orthopedic Specialists is looking for energetic, personable, motivated individuals that are team oriented with excellent customer service skills.
Job Duties:
  • Contact patients regarding their orders/insurance benefits and inquire about scheduling
  • Answer calls
  • Monitor MRI buckets, orders, and incoming documents in electronic health record
  • Register new patients
  • Schedule appointments
  • Greet patients and visitors to the practice
  • Review appointment requirements with patient so that they understand what will be expected at time of appointment
  • Collect payments/deposits
  • Scan/fax documents and test results into electronic health record when applicable
  • Review screening forms prior to exam for MRI safety
  • Keep patient areas clean and professional
  • Assist MRI Techs as needed

Scheduled Hours:
  • Schaumburg Location
  • Part-Time (13.5 hours per week)
  • Monday - Wednesday: 3:30pm - 8:00pm
