Job description

Part-Time Remote Staff Pharmacist
Location: Remote, anywhere within the US.
Schedule: Part-time - may include evenings, overnights, and/or weekend shifts. Regular schedule includes at least twice a week from 6PM-12AM Pacific Time (shift times subject to change).
Licensure Requirements: Active pharmacist license required in WA or OR. Must also be willing to obtain AK and ID.
About the Role
Join our telepharmacy team as a Remote Staff Pharmacist, supporting multiple hospitals across
several states. You'll leverage technology and clinical expertise to verify medication orders,
support care teams, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care from a fully remote environment.
What You'll Do
Telepharmacy Services
• Complete remote order entry, order verification, and drug verification.
• Provide patient counseling when needed.
• Navigate multiple pharmacy information systems (PIS).
Clinical Support
• Provide drug information and therapeutic guidance to providers.
• Assess medication appropriateness, dosing (including renal/hepatic adjustments),
interactions, and compatibilities.
• Support specialized populations such as pediatrics, geriatrics, pregnant/nursing
patients, and those with renal/hepatic impairment.
• Maintain knowledge of IV therapies, cardiac/narcotic drips, IV antibiotics, and more.
Operational Excellence
• Document interventions and clinical actions accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, pharmacy laws, and client policies.
Technical & Professional Skills
• Work across VPNs, automation systems, and multiple PIS platforms.
• Use applications such as Google Suite/Microsoft Office and Snagit.
• Maintain required licenses, credentials, and system access.
Training & Performance
• Participate in ongoing training (clinical, PIS, and policy updates).
• Meet productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications
• Bachelors in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
• At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience required
• Active and in good standing state pharmacist license required in WA or OR
• Additional state licenses preferred (AK and ID)
• Strong clinical knowledge and comfort working across multiple systems
• Ability to work part-time hours that may include evenings, overnights, and/or
weekends
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 54 - 91 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
