Job Summary and Description
Position responsible for teaching Continuing Education classes. Continuing Education Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity contingent upon the needs of the department. Classes are offered during daytime, evenings, and weekends as well as some College holidays. Classes are offered at various times and locations during the academic year.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience:
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration,Office Administration, Accounting, or related field, or a combination ofeducation, training, and experience that equates to the required degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications includingWord, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related business or trainingdiscipline.
  • Three (3) years teaching or training experience with adultlearners.
  • Four (4) years of work-related experience inadministrative support, office management, bookkeeping, or related businessfield.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications includingWord, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with online instruction using Zoom and CanvasLMS preferred.
  • Experience with online instruction and virtual learningplatforms preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Certified Microsoft Office specialist.
  • Certified Online QuickBooks User certification preferred.
