Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Clinical Psychologist for the full-time or part time opening in San Jose, CA. The Clinical Psychologist will provide direct psychological services to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises, supporting both adult and pediatric populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric screenings and evaluations.
- Deliver crisis intervention services in a fast-paced emergency setting.
- Provide psychoeducation to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and coping strategies.
- Participate in ongoing program development and evaluation initiatives.
- Attend and contribute to departmental, division, and unit meetings.
- Supervise psychology trainees, including interns and post-doctoral fellows.
- Administer and interpret psychological testing as clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including opportunities to lead or participate in didactic seminars, case conferences, and teaching activities.
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.

- Experience with conducting psychological assessments and testing.
- Experience conducting interviews and assessments with both children and adults.
- Willingness and readiness to participate in court-related cases, including testimony and working with DFCS and other legal systems.
