Attending Psychologist OCD Program
UCSF Health is currently recruiting for a psychologist position in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position will be filled in a rank and series commensurate with experience, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026 or thereafter.
Qualifications
โ€ข PhD in psychology or equivalent, postdoctoral training in psychology or equivalent, and licensed to practice psychology in California at the time of appointment
โ€ข Demonstrated clinical, educational, and administrative skills with a strong commitment to an academic career as a clinician-educator
โ€ข Demonstrated competence in working with a range of communities and populations.
โ€ข Applicant's materials must list (pending) qualifications upon application submission
โ€ข Applicants must meet all of the requirements by the time of hire
Responsibilities
โ€ข Providing outpatient services to patients with OCD and related conditions, including individual therapy and group therapy in an intensive outpatient settings
โ€ข Clinical supervision of psychiatry residents in CBT and exposure-based therapy
โ€ข Participating in teaching, supervision and assessment of trainees
โ€ข Participating in assessments and interventions for research studies and working on scholarly projects with other members of the department
โ€ข Engaging in innovation and improvements in clinical, research, and educational programs
โ€ข Participating in departmental, university, and public service

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5 . The minimum base salary range for this position is $106,000 -$319,800. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
