About the Job:

As a Document Scanning Specialist you will be responsible for handling, preparing, and digitizing paper documents. This role involves operating equipment to produce high-quality digital images, ensuring proper organization and care of documents before and after scanning, and maintaining accurate records of digitized materials. Job site located in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a part time 35 hours/week job.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle and prepare documents
  • Operate and maintain scanning equipment, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
  • Organize and index scanned materials
  • Perform Scanning audits to ensure accuracy
  • Perform all duties in accordance with all Intelligent Image Management service policies.
  • Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate documents and boxes that occasionally weights 25 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with basic computer software - Microsoft Office (e.g. word, excel) for file management and record keeping.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Handle delicate or fragile documents with care.
  • Lift and carry boxes of documents that occasionally weigh 25 lbs.
  • Sit or stand during repetitive scanning tasks
