Part Time Housekeeper - Addiction Recovery | Wooded Glen Recovery Center | Henryville, Indiana
About the Job:
The Housekeeper is responsible for keeping a clean and healthy client care environment by maintaining assigned areas in a clean, safe, sanitary and orderly manner. Advises supervisor on environmental services equipment needs and repairs. Ensures that infectious waste and confidential disposal contractors perform as scheduled.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Help us keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff.
What You'll Do
  • Perform daily cleaning of patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, scrub, wax, and polish floors
  • Clean and disinfect furniture, fixtures, equipment, and high-touch surfaces
  • Wash walls, windows, door panels, and woodwork
  • Launder linens using commercial washers/dryers
  • Remake beds after client discharge
  • Remove trash and transport waste properly
  • Maintain supply inventory and cleaning equipment
  • Follow infection control and safety guidelines
  • Assist with room setup for meetings and events
