Overview:
Job Title: Power Platform & Dynamic 365 Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Location: Hybrid - NYC - The project is currently 100% remote. However, that may change in the future.
Part Time: Hourly needs determined on an ad hoc basis (Estimated ~7 / week). The hours will vary from week to week.
Travel: None
Job Duties:
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME) to support ad hoc consultation, troubleshooting, and solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platforms.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on best practices, configurations, and optimization within Power Platform tools and Dynamics modules.
  • Support the review or development of low code solutions, automation workflows, and integrated data models that leverage both Power Platform and Dynamics capabilities
  • Participate in working sessions or reviews on an as-needed basis.
  • Assist with light documentation, prototyping, or demonstrations to support decision making or implementation planning.

Required Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Power Platform suite, including power apps and power automate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its core modules, including configuration and customization.
  • Ability to design, advise on, and support low code / no-code solutions and automate workflows.
  • Comfortable interpreting evolving business requirements and recommending effective technical solutions.
  • Skilled at collaborating with cross-functional teams and communicating technical concepts clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide ad hoc consultation and troubleshooting support.
  • Experience supporting deployment processes, environment management, or integration with other systems is a plus.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

Desired Certifications:
  • MB-600: Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect Expert or equivalent (highly preferred)
