To excel as a Part-Time PLC Programmer, you need a solid background in electrical engineering or automation, experience with PLC logic, and knowledge of industrial control systems. Familiarity with programming languages such as ladder logic, and tools like Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Mitsubishi PLC software, is typically required.
