RESUME REQUIRED

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION. THE SALARY IS 70K-95K/YEAR. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH PLCS AND AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Purpose:

Responsible for performing PLC programmer functions. PLC programmer is responsible to design, develop, and implement advanced control systems tailored to our clients' specific requirements. The Engineering Manager will provide maximum support to the Production & Quality Control departments with improved production processes, efficiencies, and outstanding engineering customer service.

Essential Duties
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi PLC systems with a focus on motion control applications like robots, servos, motors and conveyors, among others.
  • Develop customized control algorithms and motion profiles to optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLCs with other control systems, such as HMI and MES.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems to ensure functionality and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in PLC programming and motion control technologies.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives within the organization. Reporting Relationship: Reports to ENGINEERING MANAGER
Education / Skill / Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in PLC programming, with a strong emphasis on Mitsubishi PLC
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing motion control systems, including servo and stepper motor applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
  • Experience with industrial communication and motion control interfaces
  • Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in the automotive industry or similar.
  • Safety PLC Programming Experience
