The City of Saint Charles Parks and Recreation Department is recruiting for seasonal/part-time Parks Equipment Technician. This position is part-time and is not scheduled to work more than 1,499 hours per year.

  • Position serves as a part-time support for Parks Mechanic.
  • Regular duties include providing light services to park vehicles and equipment including pickup trucks, law-enforcement vehicles, diesel and propane mowers, two-cycle engines, motorcycles, and trash trucks.
  • Conduct regular preventative maintenance services and help support Parks Mechanic with on-going repairs and needs to keep parks equipment functioning and safe.
  • All applicants must possess or be able to obtain by date of hire a valid driver's license.
  • Must be 16 years of age.
