NOW HIRING: Recreation Director
Position Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a passionate and creative Recreation Director to lead our activities department at our skilled nursing facility. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through engaging and enriching recreational programs.

Recreation Director Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and oversee recreational programs that promote social, emotional, and physical well-being

  • Manage and supervise the activities team

  • Coordinate events, outings, and special programs tailored to resident interests and abilities

  • Maintain accurate documentation and resident participation records

  • Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support quality of life initiatives

Recreation Director Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Recreation Director or Activities Director in a long-term care setting

  • Certified Activity Director (or able to obtain certification per state requirements)

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
