About Recharged

Recharged is on a mission to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption with the first end-to-end e-commerce marketplace designed specifically for used EV buyers and sellers. Recharged is committed to making electric vehicles more accessible and affordable to consumers, while also serving dealers, fleets, and other companies navigating the transition to electric vehicles.

About the Role

The Lot Attendant will be responsible for the day-to-day organization and upkeep of the dealership lot. This role involves managing vehicle inventory, assisting with vehicle presentation, and ensuring the lot is clean and orderly. The ideal candidate will be very detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a passion for contributing to a positive customer experience. * Please note, that this is a Part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Management: Ensure that all vehicles on the lot are properly displayed and organized. Move vehicles as needed to accommodate sales and service activities.
  • Lot Maintenance: Keep the lot clean and organized and ensure that the lot is safe and free of hazards.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and report on vehicle inventory levels, ensuring that all vehicles are correctly tagged and tracked. Assist with the inspection and documentation of incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Vehicle Presentation: Ensure that all vehicles are clean, presentable, and sufficiently charged. If issues are noticed, collaborate with the inventory manager to rectify.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the sales and inventory teams to support dealership operations. Assist with the preparation of vehicles for customer delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or in the automotive industry is advantageous but not required. A strong willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Skills: Ability to operate vehicles safely and perform spot basic vehicle issues. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Communication: Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, such as walking, standing, and lifting.

Driving Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable by the company's motor vehicle insurance carrier. Willingness to submit a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for review is required.
