Overview

Chenegaย Naswikย International, LLC isย seekingย a professional and customer-focused Access Control Specialist to support security operations in Homestead, Florida. This position plays a key role inย maintainingย facility security through access control operations, visitor management, database administration, and customer service support while helping protect government personnel, facilities, and assets.ย 

  • The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional service in a security-focused environment. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with government personnel, employees, visitors, and VIPs while supporting mission-critical access control and security administration functions.ย 

**The shift for this position will be primarily for Friday and Saturday nights. **

Responsibilities
  • Provide access control services through centralized access control operations and monitoring activities.ย 

  • Monitor facility entrances and exits using access control and video surveillance systems.ย 

  • Verify access authorizations and ensure compliance with established security procedures.ย 

  • Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, VIPs, and government personnel.ย 

  • Support visitor management and facility entry processes.ย 

  • Maintainย accurateย records, databases, and security-related documentation.ย 

  • Utilize Microsoft Office applications and related systems to track and manage access control activities.ย 

  • Safeguard government-furnished equipment, information, and property.ย 

  • Support security operations byย maintainingย accurateย logs and operational records.ย 

  • Assistย with emergency preparedness initiatives andย participateย in evacuation drills asย required.ย 

  • Communicate effectively with security personnel and stakeholders regarding access-related issues.ย 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย 

Qualifications
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience supporting access control, facility security, or security administration activities at government facilities or installations.ย 

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supportingย Departmentย of Defense or federal government agencies.ย 

  • Familiarity with security clearance adjudication processes.ย 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing customer service and records/database management in a Department of Defense environment.ย 

  • Working knowledge of Department of Defense network environments, including SIPRNet and NIPRNet.ย 

  • Active Secret clearanceย required.ย 

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • Experience supporting access control operations for Department of Defense or federal government facilities.ย 

  • Experienceย utilizingย security databases, visitor management systems, or access control platforms.ย 

  • Experienceย monitoringย electronic security systems or surveillance systems.ย 

  • Experience interacting with senior government officials, VIPs, and visitors.ย 

  • Additionalย experience supporting security administration programs.ย 

Knowledge,ย Skillsย and Abilities:ย 

  • Knowledge of access control procedures, facility security operations, and visitor management practices.ย 

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.ย 

  • Ability toย maintainย accurateย records, reports, and electronic databases.ย 

  • Proficiencyย with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.ย 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.ย 

  • Ability to safeguard sensitive information and government property.ย
