Job Title: Director of Database Marketing

Salary: $150,000 +

Status: Full Time

Shift: Varies


Monarch Casino Resort Spa is looking for a strategic, data focused marketing leader to serve as Director of Database Marketing. In this position, you'll develop and implement marketing strategies using player data to boost revenue and improve guest engagement, while also overseeing database segmentation and analytics initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute marketing initiatives that leverage player data to drive revenue, boost guest engagement, and maximize the impact of direct marketing campaigns
  • Responsible for database integrity (security, data cleansing, NCOA, etc.).
  • Utilize knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), data warehouses, relational databases, and multi-dimensional databases in analyzing various data sources (in-house databases, data warehouse, other third-party data sources, etc.) to develop the queries and procedures for extracting and communicating required information.
  • Provide pre and post campaign analysis.
  • Lead database segmentation, campaign execution, reporting, and analytics, ensuring that every strategy is both insight-driven and guest-focused.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to strengthen guest loyalty and support overall marketing objectives.
  • Contribute to long-term casino growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • 6–7 years of progressive experience in database marketing or analytics, including 3–5 years in leadership.
  • Experience with database analytics in the casino industry, combined with proven expertise in data-driven marketing strategies such as customer segmentation, campaign targeting, and performance measurement.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms, marketing automation tools, and reporting systems.
  • Experienced with Slot Player Tracking, Casino Management, and marketing systems.
  • Highly skilled in developing and maintaining SQL-compliant databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and other relational database systems, including multi-dimensional databases and data mining models.
  • Well-versed in the Microsoft Office suite, including SQL Server, Access, and Excel.
  • Experience with loyalty programs, direct mail, email, and digital campaigns, managing large-scale databases, and ensuring data integrity to drive ROI.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with guests, team members, vendors, and partners.
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming Support License.
  • Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages. (Python, JavaScript) and campaign tracking systems.
