Job description

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Director of Data & Analytics who will be responsible for all aspects of data management, analysis, and strategic insights at iLending. The Director of Data Analytics will play a critical role in driving the company's growth by leveraging data assets and analytics capabilities to unlock business opportunities, enhance operational efficiency, and support decision-making across all functional areas.

LOCATION: The position is on-site in the Englewood Office. To be considered for this position, you must be local to the Denver Area, or moving to the Denver Area. Relocation assistance is not provided.

What you'll do:
  • Perform thorough analyses to uncover actionable insights or strategic opportunities related to business growth, operational efficiency, and cost/ resource optimization.
  • The Director of Data Analytics will provide hands-on consultancy, collaboration, and support to all department heads and project teams in designing, staffing, and delivering analytics data and financial reporting and the continued refinement of the budget/forecast process.
  • Manage and optimize the data infrastructure and technology stack, including data storage, ETL processes, data modeling, and data visualization tools.
  • Utilizing Tableau, Excel, and SQL to continue development of a full suite of operational reports from multiple systems.
  • Establish and maintain robust data governance processes, ensuring data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, operations, and technology, to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions. Establish strong relationship across all business lines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management, analytics, and financial technology, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance data-driven decision-making.
  • Foster a data-driven culture within the organization, promoting data literacy, encouraging data-driven thinking, and driving data-driven decision-making at all levels.
  • Enable data-informed decision-making across the entire company through the development and deployment of dashboards / standardized KPIs / operational metrics/training/ awareness.
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness in developing new reporting to address needs or questions from the executive team.

What you bring to the table:
  • 6-10 years of data analytics experience.
  • Advanced SQL knowledge.
  • Hands-on experience building reporting solutions in Tableau or similar tool.
  • Azure or AWS experience preferred.
  • Experience in consumer lending (mortgage, credit cards, auto loans).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with running analytics for the sales organization.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited college or university; Finance, or other analytical/technical majors strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience fostering solid relationships across multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated Ability to collaborate with senior executives.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
  • Base Annual salary of $130,000 - $150,000
  • Full-time positions are benefits-eligible the first month after 30 days of employment, which includes:
