Position Title
Assistant Director of Data Integration & Analytics
Position Summary
The Data Integration & Reporting Analyst serves as a key contributor within the Enrollment Division. This role supports the division's digital operations by managing secure data exchanges, SFTP environments, API's, automated file transfer workflows, and reporting needs across the division.
The Assistant Director of Data Integration and Analytics ensures data accuracy, reliability, and compliance as information flows between enterprise systems (SIS, CRM, and LMS) and external partners. The position reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management Systems and works with Enrollment Management division colleagues, to support integrated systems, maintain data integrity, and enable strategic decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
SFTP & Secure Data Transfers Management
  • Stays abreast of electronic database enhancements and new features and spearheads the implementation of new developments.
  • Develop and manage API's for Enrollment Management Systems
  • Administer and maintain all SFTP sites and secure file transfer processes used across campus.
  • Create and manage SFTP user accounts, encryption keys, and permissions based on access governance standards.
  • Monitor all automated file transfers supporting Enrollment Management division operations.
  • Troubleshoot failed file transfers and coordinate resolution with internal teams and vendors.
  • Maintain documentation for all file transfer workflows, schedules, and business rules.
  • Develop and maintain data bridges, and mapping.

Analytics and Integration
  • Develop and maintain bi-directional data migration between Slate, LMS, ERP, and Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain data verification audit reports and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Bridge the gap between the Power BI dashboard layer, Data Warehouse layers, Data Ingestion processes and the various source systems
  • Manage and optimize ETL/ELT processes, ensuring high data quality, consistency, and availability.
  • Develop and maintain integration documentation, best practices, and process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Develop deep dive analytical reports using Tableau and PowerBI

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with teams on system-related projects and integration timelines.
  • Partner with Institutional Analytics to align data definitions, reporting logic, and data quality standards.
  • Communicate technical issues in clear, accessible language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with IT Security to ensure all data transfers follow institutional security practices and FERPA compliance.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Education Technologies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL development, or data engineering, preferably in a healthcare or health IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, data mapping, and ETL tools/processes.
  • 3+ years of experience using Power BI, Tableau, and Argos.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client-facing projects simultaneously while maintaining high quality and timely delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly terms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working directly with clients
  • Advanced knowledge of Snowflake, Axiom, Slate CRM, Banner systems
  • Attention to detail with particularly accuracy in data collection, data cleaning and reporting
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Professional demeanor when working with external stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate (Power BI / data modeling / visualization) preferred.
