ProSidian Seeks a Network and Computer Systems Administrator: Systems Administrator - Aerospace Medical Research (AMR12) headquartered near CONUS - Oklahoma City, OK to support requirements for Aerospace and Defense Sector Clients. 

This CONUS - Oklahoma City, OK | Network and Computer Systems Administrator: Systems Administrator - Aerospace Medical Research (AMR12) Contract Contingent position currently best aligns with the Network and Computer Systems Administrator: Systems Administrator Labor Category. Ideal candidates exhibit the ability to visualize, analyze, and convert data and experiences to meet performance challenges while confidently engaging in productive "Jugaad" and dialogue targeting mission success.  ProSidian Team Members work to provide Gov't. - Federal (USA) Sector related Human Capital Solutions for Aerospace Medical Research and Technical Support Services  on behalf of The Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI).

Network and Computer Systems Administrator: Systems Administrator - Aerospace Medical Research (AMR12) Candidates shall work to support requirements for  (Aerospace Medical Research Services) and shall work as part of a team in support of Aerospace Medical Research efforts.  The candidate will complete tasks and activities contributing to deliverables and core mission functions in the Aerospace Medical Research space.

Must perform work as required by the Knowledge Management team, with typical tasks such as:

- Assist under minimal direction in administering and maintaining servers, software, and networks comprising local knowledge management system.

- Assist in monitoring system security, updating and installing security patches and software as necessary, assist in responding to periodic system security assessments. 

- Respond to customer service requests by analyzing and resolving the indicated problem or problems.

- Maintain the ability of users/customers to securely access databases and software. 

- Monitor current security regulations and orders for changes or revisions, initiate the necessary revisions to applicable SOPs under direction.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related problems identified by customers or other stakeholders. Assist in administering a high-performance Linux computing system and network-attached storage.

- Assist in performing system and software backups and updates. 

- Assist in identifying, testing, recommending, and installing new software as requested by users or management. 

- Administer the CAMI High Performance Computer, including cluster and node management, performing system and software backups and updates, integration with HPC contract support, and maintenance of network connectivity of users.

- Assist AAM-600 government employees and contractors in use of the High Performance Computer, including: training in proper use and writing documentation (e.g., systems requirements, configuration management, user's guidance), identifying, testing, recommending, and installing new software as requested by users or management.

- Assist Knowledge Management team, upon request, in system updates and maintenance of Research Computers, including computers with both Windows and Linux operating systems.

- Maintain the ability of customers to securely access databases and software located on the HPC system. This will sometimes require serving as a POC for projects updating infrastructure, networks, and connectivity affecting AAM-600.

Qualifications

- B.S. or higher in System Administration, Computer Science, or related field plus at least two years of experience administering secure, onsite systems and networks including troubleshooting and resolving problems with those systems-

OR  

High school diploma plus at least six years of experience administering secure, onsite systems and networks including troubleshooting and resolving problems with those systems.

- Two years of experience in assessing and maintaining system security, network security, and authorized user accessibility in accordance with FAA order 1370.121 or similar regulations. Additionally, two years of experience in implementing new system and network security requirements.

- Two years of experience working productively in a team environment, meeting deadlines, and responding to requests according to defined schedule.

- Two years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server OS. 

- Ability to test and maintain software.

- Minimum 2 years of experience as system or network administrator.

- Problem solving ability allowing applicant to examine, troubleshoot, and solve  issues related to job duties with little to no assistance and one year of experience resolving computer user service requests.

- Must have 1 year of experience with teamwork and interpersonal communication, including interaction with team members, users/customers with varying levels of expertise, and management personnel.

- Experience working in Linux operating systems.

- Experience with configuration management including implementing new system, network, and/or database security requirements

- Experience administering a multi-node Linux HPC system, including 1 year of experience operating cluster management software

 U.S.  Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen

Excellent oral and written communication skills (This employer participates in the e-Verify program)

Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
