Frye Island / Technology and Projects Administrator / Raymond, Maine
The Town of Frye Island, located on beautiful Sebago Lake, specifically servicing the local community and vacationers, is seeking a part time Technology and Projects Administrator to provide support to the Town Manager and Frye Island with on going technical systems support and projects.
The successful applicant must possess a strong knowledge of computer and software programs and have strong research and data analytical skills.
Benefits of the Job:
  • Flexible work hours between 20-30 hours per week depending on the season.
  • Hourly rate starting at $25/ hr. based on experience

Requirements for the Technology and Projects Administrator
  • Degree in relevant field preferred
  • Prior experience in local government or municipality technology helpful
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Working knowledge of, or ability to learn, multiple software platforms relating to town operations
  • Ability to research and provide viable solutions for implementation
  • Experience with website and social media platform administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology; experience with municipal software systems (e.g., Metabase, E-Code, Online Moorings, etc.) is a plus

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research, develop options and implement various initiatives to improve the Town's operation, financial performance and user experience.
  • Develop data, information and analysis to support formulation of Town decisions, policies and practices.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency with the various software platforms and applications used to support town operations.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the Town Manager and other staff in the use of software applications
  • Administer the Town website, social media and other communication platforms
