POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Curriculum Center Director, this position has responsibilityfor managing patron-centered services in the Curriculum Center during scheduledhours.  The ideal candidate is passionateabout helping others and has a strong commitment to customer service, providinga friendly, welcoming experience to each patron.  Hours will be determined by need but willprimarily be evenings and weekends with a willingness to work a non-traditionalschedule that is contingent on departmental needs and/or semester.  Duties include providing courteous andefficient services to library patrons; assisting with social media; assistingwith creating and maintaining the Curriculum Center webpage and LibGuides; projectsas assigned; and other duties as necessary
DUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIES:
Creates a welcoming and safe environment for patrons and staff through activelistening, engaging and articulate communication and efficient problem-solving,serving as the primary point of contact and handling interactions withpatience, kindness and professional empathy; 
AssistsCurriculum Center Director with day-to-day needs;
Assists withcreative vision of physical and digital special projects as assigned;
Coordinate socialmedia initiatives and assist with Curriculum Center web presence;
Assists libraryusers with Ellison Machine and technology components in the Curriculum Center;
Maintainssecurity of Curriculum Center, while being alert and mindful of the happeningsin the building.  Contact appropriatepersonnel when needed.
Employs attentionto detail in laminating and binding projects;
Open/close theCurriculum Center following the procedural checklist; 
Assists in theoversight of work carried out by student assistants as needed;
Shelves andmaintains organization of materials.
Completes other duties as assigned.
