Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Patron Assistance: Greet visitors, give basic directions, and direct complex research questions to librarians.
  • Circulation Desk: Check books in and out, process library cards, and answer phone calls.
  • Collection Maintenance: Re-shelve returned books, read shelves for correct order, and shift books.

Required Qualifications
  • Work-Study Eligibility: Must have an active financial aid work-study award.
  • Communication Skills: Friendly attitude and clear speaking voice to help visitors.
  • Reliability: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to follow safety and privacy rules. Must have a flexible schedule. Must be available to work an evening & weekend shift.
