What are part-time international students?

Part-time international students are students from abroad who are enrolled in a limited number of courses or credits at a university or college, as opposed to full-time enrollment. This status usually means taking fewer classes per semester, which can extend the time needed to complete a degree. However, many countries require international students to maintain full-time enrollment to comply with visa regulations, so part-time status is not always an option. Students should always check the specific requirements of their educational institution and the visa rules of the country where they are studying.

Part-time international students often face the challenge of managing their academic commitments alongside part-time work while adjusting to life in a new country. Time management and prioritization are key, as students need to schedule their classes, work shifts, and personal activities efficiently.
