Job Overview:

We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Home Health Certified Nursing Assistants โ€“ CNA / Nursing Assistants โ€“ NA to provide one-on-one care for patients in their homes throughout Martinsville, VA and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for caregivers seeking flexibility, independence, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patientsโ€™ daily lives.

As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant โ€“ CNA / Nursing Assistant โ€“ NA, you will assist patients with daily living activities while working closely with a supportive home health team to ensure quality patient care. This role requires travel to patient homes throughout the service area.


Responsibilities of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant โ€“ CNA / Nursing Assistant โ€“ NA:
  • Provide direct patient care in the personal setting
  • Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, hygiene, and nutritional intake
  • Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Monitor and document vitals, intake/output, and changes in patient condition
  • Support patients with chronic illness, injury, or mobility challenges
  • Follow individualized patient care plans and communicate with the care team
  • Observe patient concerns and report changes requiring additional care or intervention

Qualifications of Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant โ€“ CNA / Nursing Assistant โ€“ NA:
  • Active CNA certification in the state of Virginia
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current CPR certification and TB screening
  • Valid Virginia driverโ€™s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  • Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
  • Ability to work independently in a personal setting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
