The Part-Time ICU RN provides high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This role requires advanced clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to respond rapidly to changing patient conditions. The RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhearing to hospital policies and evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions, including vital signs and response to treatment
  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
  • operate and manage critical care equipment (e.g., ventilators, IV pumps)
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff
  • Provide patient and family education and emotional support
