Job description

Position Summary The Kid's Spaces Specialist ensures a safe and engaging experience for children of in-store guests while maintaining high guest satisfaction. This role oversees Kids Spaces operations, supports showroom Visual Merchandising standards, and contributes to sales by engaging guests in alignment with the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model. Success is measured by SPH performance, achievement of KPIs, and guest satisfaction results.Position Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Deliver a welcoming, guest-first experience by engaging guests in alignment with the Living Spaces Guest Engagement Model.

  • Ensure a safe, clean Kids Spaces environment through adherence to safety procedures, routine checks, and established guidelines.

  • Follow all Kids Spaces policies, including child restrictions, check-in/check-out procedures, and parent communication.

  • Operate Kids Spaces efficiently while maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

  • Support sales by engaging guests and contributing to SPH and KPI performance goals.

  • Maintain showroom readiness by completing daily tasks and ensuring a clean, organized, and "Grand Opening" ready environment.

  • Execute Visual Merchandising standards, including product presentation, labeling, and style guide compliance.

  • Maintain inventory accuracy and follow asset protection and loss prevention standards.

  • Assist with showroom setup, furniture assembly, and overall store operations as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a childcare, education, or related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.


Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience in Microsoft Office programs.

Certificates and Licenses: CPR/first aid certification

SupervisoryResponsibilities:This position will not have supervisory responsibilities.

Position Hiring Range

The hiring pay range provides a good faith estimate of the salary or hourly wage that Living Spaces expects to pay for the position upon hire. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data. Living Spaces reserves the right to modify this page at any time.

Compensation: $17.90 - $23.30

Overtime pay is available for eligible, non-exempt Team Members.Reimbursement for expenses as required by applicable law and Company policy.Retail, Guest Services and Distribution Center Team Members are eligible to receive team bonus based on meeting specific goals and KPI's.
