Job description

We are looking for a part-time HACCP Quality Assurance (QA) professional to monitor food safety plans, enforce regulatory compliance, and prevent contamination risks during food production.


Key Responsibilities


  • HACCP Management: Develop, validate, and maintain Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) plans and prerequisite programs.
  • Monitoring & Testing: Inspect critical control points, collect samples, and oversee microbiological or environmental testing.
  • Audits & Compliance: Prepare for and lead internal and external facility audits (Food Safety Experts) while maintaining alignment with regulatory bodies like the USDA or FDA.
  • Corrective Actions: Investigate process deviations, document root causes, and enforce corrective and preventive actions (FoodTechSafety).
  • Staff Training: Educate plant workers on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and sanitation standard operating procedures.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Certifications: HACCP certification and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) credentials.
  • Experience: Background in food manufacturing, quality control, or laboratory testing environments.
