Elizabethton City Schools is looking for Part-time and Substitute Cooks Needed
REQUIREMENTS: Sufficient food service experience, skills and aptitude so that with
appropriate training they may serve in the specific role for which they will be employed. Meet the health and physical requirements and be fingerprinted if not already on file.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Prepare and serve food in an efficient, courteous manner
  2. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness
  3. Must utilize standardized recipes and serve food in required portions
  4. Must be able to follow directions and work cooperatively with others
  5. Must have adequate computer skills to operate the point-of-sale
  6. Must follow HACCP guidelines and complete paperwork related to HACCP
  7. Must be able to keep student meal status confidential
  8. Attend a minimum of four hours training/inservice related to work annually
  9. Observe all federal, state and local regulations relating to school food service
    operations
  10. Possess the ability to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with
    faculty, staff, and students
  11. Abstain from the use of tobacco and alcohol while on the job
  12. Perform other work related duties as assigned.
