Job description

Overview:

The Music Therapist provides music therapy services to diverse pediatric patient populations with medical and psychosocial needs. The Music Therapist collaborates closely with interdisciplinary partners and actively supports initiatives that enhance patient experience. This role also assists in developing educational programming and promoting a healing environment through clinical practice and patient- and family-centered care.

This is a Part-Time position that will be scheduled for (3) 8-hour Day shifts a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provides music therapy services to patients and families in inpatient and outpatient settings, utilizing developmentally appropriate and therapeutic interventions, documents assessments and treatment according to departmental and regulatory standards.

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and programs to ensure integrated services and to address patient needs within the scope of the role.

Supports program sustainability activities as needed, including assisting with grant-related tasks, contributing to fundraising efforts, and helping maintain program materials and resources.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy required; Master's preferred

Licensure/Certification: Music Therapist Board Certification & LP MT required. NICU - MT is strongly preferred

Experience: 1-3 years of Pediatric experience required

Pay Range: $23.22 to $34.83 Based On Experience
