About Global Music Rights
Global Music Rights (GMR) is not your typical performance rights management organization. Our focus is on licensing, surveying, and distributing public performance royalties to songwriters, composers, and publishers; we represent some of the most iconic and influential music creators of our time. Built on transparency, innovation, and advocacy, GMR is reshaping how songwriters and composers are compensated for the performance of their work.
Position Overview
This full-time Associate Sales Training Manager supports the design, delivery, and evaluation of training programs that enhance employee performance and support organizational goals. This role assists senior training staff with facilitating in person, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions, as well as maintaining training materials and documentation. The ideal candidate is an engaging communicator with a passion for helping others learn and grow. While this role is mostly remote, there will be occasional travel required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering new hire onboarding and ongoing training programs across the sales organization
  • Facilitate onboarding curriculum for new sellers and ongoing training for existing sellers
  • Support the development of training materials such as manuals, presentations, e-learning modules, and job aids
  • Conduct learning needs assessments and gather feedback to continuously improve training content and methods
  • Analyze KPI's of existing sellers and find ongoing training opportunities for the sales team
  • Track attendance, completion rates, and training outcomes in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Provide coaching and side-by-side support to employees during skill development activities
  • Work cross-functionally with key business stakeholders (Revenue Operations, Legal, and Technology teams) to understand ongoing training needs and ensure materials are up to date and accurate
  • Stay up to date on adult learning principles, training technologies, and industry best practices
  • Perform administrative duties related to scheduling, logistics, and reporting for training sessions

Qualifications
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate learners in diverse learning environments.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable with technology and data tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; can present material and deliver materials in an engaging way.
  • Experience using the following technologies is a plus: Zoom, Teams, Lessonly, Outreach, Salesforce
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong ability to adapt your training style to sellers needs
  • Exceptional work ethic and experience working independently in a remote environment.
  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, sales automation, or conversation intelligence platforms) to improve prospecting, personalizing outreach, prioritize leads, or increase sales efficiency

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in education, Human Resources, Organizational Development/Training, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in training, facilitation, or employee development (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Compensation & Benefits Package:
  • $60K-$70K, based on experience, plus discretionary annual bonus
  • Competitive benefits package and paid time off schedule

Location
  • This is a fully remote position; candidates must reside in the Phoenix area for occasional in-person meetings
