Part-Time Event Staff - Duke University Athletics
Event Partners Inc. (EPI) is a leading event staff provider in the Southeast. Servicing clients in the Sport and Entertainment industry since 2005, EPI provides quality parking, access control, bag checkers, ticket takers, ushers, guest services, premium attendants, front of house and back of house event staff for numerous athletic events, concerts and special events throughout the South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia region.
The Part-Time Event Staff - Duke University will primarily be responsible for working as part-time event staff for the parking operations at Duke University. Individuals will work with EPI's Event Supervisors and the Director of Operations to ensure the successful operation of events held around Duke University's campus.
Primary Duties and Tasks:
  • Ensure guests attending Duke University functions are having a safe and enjoyable experience.
  • Ensure guests are parking in appropriate areas.
  • Monitor access into reserved lots and locations, ensuring only access to approved individuals.
  • Follow EPI's and Duke University's guidelines to ensure all guests are being provided superior customer service.
  • Assist EPI's operations in the Raleigh/Durham region and possible travel opportunities to Boone, NC at Appalachian State University during football season at App State when not scheduled to work at Duke University.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations and Event Supervisors.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to work.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Experience working on a part-time event staff. Parking Event Staff experience preferred.
  • Superior Customer Service Skills.
  • Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to work in inclement weather conditions.
  • Must display a positive attitude and superior customer service skills.
  • Must always maintain a neat and professional image.

This position will report directly to the Director of Operations and assigned Event Supervisor.
