Job Summary:
This is a part-time position with scheduled hours during weekday evenings and Saturdays, totaling approximately 15 hours per week. The role involves providing administrative support to attorneys practicing in both litigation and business law.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, arbitration, trial prep, and appellate procedures. Prepare and file legal documents, and compile court-ready materials.
  • Draft, revise, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence. Maintain accurate physical and electronic filing systems, organize binders for key phases (depositions, mediation, trial), and transcribe dictation as needed.
  • Prepare and organize closing binders for various corporate transactions as needed.
  • Perform general office duties including collecting and processing outgoing mail and FedEx packages.
  • Performing other related duties as required or assigned, some of which may be essential to the position.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Knowledge in litigation practices and procedures required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and related software.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work independently.
  • Proficient typist.
Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' legal assistant experience required.
