Part-Time Full-Charge Bookkeeper & Office Coordinator (QuickBooks Desktop)

True Vines, Inc. is looking for a steady, detail-driven professional to own our day-to-day financial operations and keep our internal systems running cleanly behind the scenes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, consistency, and variety in a small business environment. It is not a narrowly defined or purely accounting-only position.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, within 9 AM – 4 PM operating hours

Hours: 25–32 hours per week (structured to remain within part-time scope)

Compensation:

$22 - $28 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Desktop (daily, hands-on)
  • Accounts Payable: process, code, verify, and execute payments (ACH, check, EFT)
  • Accounts Receivable: invoicing, payment tracking, and collections follow-up
  • Bank and account reconciliations; maintain accurate, audit-ready records
  • Monthly cash flow reporting and financial summaries for leadership
  • Month-end close support and coordination with CPA and external partners

\Office & Operational Support (Secondary Focus)

  • Maintain organized digital files and internal documentation
  • Manage vendor communication and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Provide follow-through support to leadership on administrative items
  • Serve as a point of contact for incoming calls and routing inquiries
  • Identify and improve inefficiencies in workflows and systems

Qualifications:
  • 5–7+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience (small business or service-based environment preferred)
  • Strong, working expertise in QuickBooks Desktop (required)
  • Solid understanding of AP, AR, reconciliations, and cash flow
  • Proficiency in Excel (data entry, formulas, reconciliation support)
  • Highly detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical work style
  • Comfortable working independently, with direct access to leadership for alignment
  • Professional communicator with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders

About Company

We’re a 33-year-old, woman-owned interiorscape company serving commercial clients across Houston. We design and maintain living plant installations, green walls, and large-scale seasonal décor.

  • Direct access to leadership — no layers, no bureaucracy
  • Visible impact — your work directly supports daily operations
  • Creative, non-corporate environment
  • A team that values reliability, ownership, and continuous improvement
