Job description

River Oaks Country Club is seeking a part-time, proactive, versatile, detail-oriented and motivated IT Generalist to support our organization's technology infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator and problem-solver with a broad skill set across various IT disciplines. Students encouraged to apply.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, VOIP desk phones, and Microsoft 365 to around 300 employees.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported problems promptly.
  • Update support tickets with relevant resolution details.
  • Install, configure, and update software applications.
  • Create & maintain detailed records of IT systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Create & maintain user guides, best practices, or documentation for internal use.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 11 desktop and Windows 2019/2022 server environments
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
  • Microsoft 365 - Office, Teams, OneDrive
