Job description

RemX is seeking a detail-oriented Business-to-Business Collections Specialist for a part-time temporary opportunity with a growing organization in Rockford, NC. This role is ideal for someone with collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or administrative experience who enjoys working independently and building professional relationships with customers.

Schedule

  • 15–20 hours per week, approximately 3 days per week
  • Typical hours are approximately 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $22/hr

Location: Rockford, TN- 100% onsite

Type: 6 month contract

Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound business-to-business collections calls regarding past-due accounts
  • Maintain detailed notes and activity logs within the NEXUS system
  • Research account information using the company's ERP system
  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment status
  • Document customer communications and collection efforts accurately
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues and payment discrepancies
  • Support overall accounts receivable and collections activities

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in business-to-business collections, accounts receivable, customer service, or administrative support
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and discussing account balances professionally
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
  • Ability to navigate business systems and learn new software quickly
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus
