Position Summary:

Childcare Provider is responsible for caring for children while their parents are in trainings/meetings in the same building. **

** Are you looking for additional income, a part-time job and have a passion to work with children and families?

** A position that pays at a very competitive salary?

** If so, this position can offer you the flexibility in scheduling you might be looking for!

Ideal candidate would commit to being available to work Monday nights 5:30pm -7:30pm, occasionally other nights, as needed; and some Monday mornings from 11:15am to 1:00pm, rotating Monday mornings and nights.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience with childcare and general knowledge of child development and age appropriate expectations.
  • Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills usually acquired in high school or equivalent.
  • Creativity and patience, ability to work with children and youth who may have special needs, including emotional and behavioral and maybe physical.
  • The ability to manage and de-escalate situations where a child may become upset. The ability and capacity to manage emotions under stressful child care situations.
  • Demonstrates ability to work collaboratively and problem solve child behavioral situations.
