Job description

Lodge at Marconi is seeking part-time breakfast servers. Additional banquet and dinner shifts are available for pick-up. Familiarity with Aloha POS is beneficial but not mandatory. We are looking for individuals with a great sense of hospitality and the ability to think on their feet while working a busy shift independently. A flexible schedule including mornings, holidays and weekends is required. Candidates must be punctual, reliable, detail oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Taking food and beverages orders and ensuring that they are delivered to the table in a timely fashion
• Provide great hospitality by going above and beyond for every guest
• Explaining the menus to guests and accommodating their requests
• Paying close attention to your tables to ensure that they are always taken care of
• Delivering the bill and processing payment
• Treating all guests with the utmost courtesy and respect
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, including cleaning the restaurant pre and post shift
• Understand and proficiently use the POS system
Qualifications:
• Must be eligible to work in the USA
• Food service experience preferred
• Ability to learn and understand basic food practices
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to work on your feet for up to 10 hours. Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing 20 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion.
