Captain Nickels Inn | Searsport, Maine

Captain Nickels Inn, a historic coastal bed and breakfast overlooking Penobscot Bay, is looking for a friendly and dependable Morning Breakfast Server to join our team.
This is a guest-facing position that is perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, creating a welcoming experience, and working in a beautiful, relaxed setting. It is a great summer job for a school teacher, college student, high school student, or anyone looking for enjoyable morning work in hospitality.
Schedule
Daily morning shifts: 7:30 AM โ€“ 10:00 AM
Seasonal and part-time availability may be considered.
Responsibilities
The Morning Breakfast Server helps create a warm and polished breakfast experience for our overnight guests. Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing coffee, juice, water, and breakfast service items for guests
  • Greeting guests warmly and making them feel welcome
  • Sharing the breakfast menu with guests
  • Serving breakfast in the dining room, solarium, or other guest areas as needed
  • Clearing dishes and resetting tables after breakfast
  • Assisting with the dishwasher and light breakfast clean-up
  • Helping maintain a clean, calm, and welcoming dining environment
Most breakfast services include up to 20 guests.
