Job description

Technical Writer
The Opportunity :
Provide technical writing support, including creating and preparing programmatic and engineering documentation for the client from initial draft through finalization for delivery. Develop project documentation such as SOW, WBS, and Schedules. Write and edit technical manuals, test procedures or plans, work instructions, and training packages.
You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing and producing technical documentation
  • Experience with Micro sof t Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to create document templates
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting a Systems Integration Facility
  • Experience with MS Project or other scheduling tools
  • Ability to work with the engineering team to develop Test Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Processes
  • Ability to work in a System Integration Facility with a product team

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
