Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate closely with adjunct instructors and other staff.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and consistently meet deadlines as assigned.
  • Demonstrate effective people skills, communication skills and professionalism (i.e. - prepared, reliable, responsible, punctual, etc.).
  • Participate in professional development opportunities as required by the ACD department
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the mission and goals of Tulsa Tech's ACD program.
  • Perform tasks and duties relevant to any of various roles or responsibilities assigned by supervision and determined by management to be appropriate for this position.

Job Requirements:
  • Experience teaching or training others and possess knowledge of educational practices and materials.
  • Possess strong technical writing skills, proof-reading skills, and organizational skills.
  • Possess strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn new software and district systems to review data, enter data, and pull reports.
  • Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to create thorough written documentation related to program curriculum, including lesson plans, syllabi, assessments, and presentation materials using current instructional strategies.
  • Experience using online learning management systems, specifically Blackboard, preferred.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required
Shift:
Days, up to 19 hours per week.
Salary Schedule:
Standard rate schedule for non-regular (temporary, adjunct, substitute) and regular part-time employees.
Hiring Range:
$25 per hour

Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information.
