Per month (M-TH 4:00 pm- 8:00 pm, Fri 4:00-6:30, Sat 7:30-4:30)/Campus locations will rotate
Salary Range: $45.00/Per hour
Summary:
This is an administrative position responsible for assisting in the management/supervisor of the JTED campus; coordinating and supervising personnel within the established Governing Board policies. Provides leadership in the implementation of the district's instructional programs, community relations, and projects. The successful candidate for this position must be able to work evenings and Saturdays.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.
  • Maintains a positive culture and climate on JTED campuses
  • Supports curriculum development and premier instruction on JTED campuses
  • Overseas the reporting of student and staff health status to the Pima Health Department, communicates with families, and tracking of data
  • Works in partnership with the principals in discipline issues on campuses
  • Collaborate with the principals in monitoring the safety and security of campuses
  • Assists teachers with delivery of curriculum to help Special Ed/504 students meet state CTE standards
  • Works with the principals in monitoring central campus student achievement, attendance and discipline
  • Assists the principals in handling facility issues at campuses
  • Communicates regularly with relevant stakeholders
  • Assists with distribution/inventory of snack and meal counts if applicable
  • Assess with collecting, analyzing, monitoring Student Services data
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Reports directly to the Chief Academic Officer
  • Performs related duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications/Education and/or Experience:
Three years' experience in K-12 education, preferably at the high school level
Master's Degree in Education or equivalent, from an accredited university
Valid Arizona Administrative Certificate by August 1, 2022
Valid Arizona Principal Certificate
Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
Valid IVP Fingerprint Card
Must possess a valid Arizona Driver License
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles), or MMR immunization verification (required if born after January 1, 1957)
Negative TB test within the last year
Preferred:
Arizona Qualified Evaluator
Experience as an administrator or director of programs, schools, etc.
Experience handling student discipline
Experience as a teacher mentor, instructional coach, or evaluator of teachers
Extensive knowledge of Arizona career and technical education
Experience in managing Professional Learning Committees
Bilingual (Spanish/English), but not required
Physical Tasks:
Work is performed in an Indoor/outdoor environment. Frequent sitting, standing, bending, repetitive motion, and may require some lifting.
