The City of O'Fallon, MO is looking to hire a knowledgeable and dependable Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker. Are you looking for a position where you'll be working each day in the beautiful city grounds of O'Fallon's parks? Our Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers earn competitive pay with an expected starting rate of $17.85 hourly and can expect to work March through November. We are flexible and hire seasonal workers who can work May through August to accommodate back to school schedules.As part of our Parks Department, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance of City parks. We are looking for individuals who can work a flexible schedule, with varying hours that include weekends, evenings and holidays. During the week, typically hours are M-F from 7am-3:45pm. You can expect to work various hours on weekends to maintain the park system as well as special events and tournaments.As a Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker, your duties and responsibilities will include:Maintaining athletic field turf, including mowing and string trimmingMowing and managing non-turf areasCleaning pavilions, parking lots, restrooms and playgroundsAssisting with the preparation for festivals and special eventsAssisting with the weekend park maintenance routinesMaintaining park amenities, including painting and repairing tasksPerforming related dutiesWe're looking for someone who is comfortable operating motorized equipment such as zero turn mowers, string trimmers, and blowers.
