The Paramedic provides direct effective patient care to patients in the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Paramedic primary service area. Must be able to respond safely while operating emergency vehicle and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to care for a variety of patient groups in the Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support setting.
Qualifications - External
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Successful completion of Department of Transportation Paramedic Curriculum
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Paramedic in busy 911 systems.
- CT Paramedic License
- Basic Life Support (BLS),
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Valid Driver's License
Critical Care Paramedic or Flight Paramedic Certification within 1 year of hire
Preferred:
Critical Care Certification
Nationally Registered Paramedic
