Job Description
Works under the direction and supervision of the Women's Health Manager for day to day operations, implementation of systems and coordination of care. The Women's Health Coordinator is supervised by the RN, Director of Women's Health regarding clinical functions and standards of care. Is primarily responsible for the coordination of care and case management for Pap Smear and Mammograms conducted in the assigned clinic to ensure that patients with abnormal findings are receiving the appropriate level of care in a timely manner. Assist in the case management of patients requiring further diagnostic studies or specialty referrals.
Qualifications
- Must have at least MA Certificate, but LVN License preferred.
- bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- At least 2 years experience in OB/Gyn administration and women's health.
- Experience providing CPSP services or knowledge about CPSP
- Experience or knowledge about case management
- Knowledge of Every Women Counts, FPACT, Medi-Cal, Presumptive Eligibility (PE)
